      APGRD Notes
It is recorded in the inscription that Demetrius, son of Nikaios, acted in the category of old tragedy at the Heraia in Samos. He also acted in the new tragedies at the same festival. It is not known which old tragedy was produced. The date range for performance follows the TrGF which puts it at the middle of the 2nd century BC.
