In the Lenaea festival for 363 BC, Cleaenetus came third. He produced the Hypsipyle and another play whose title cannot be read on the inscription (it began with PH). Hipparchus was the actor. For the two surviving fragments of Cleaenetus' tragedies, see TrGF1, 84 Cleaenetus, F1-2, p.251.
