Dolce's Edipo is part of the 1560 edition of Seneca's tragedies published in Venice by Giovan Battista and Melchiorre Sessa, entitled "Le Tragedie di Seneca, tradotte da M. Lodovico Dolce" and containing ten tragedies in verse (Hercole furioso, Thieste, Tebaide, Ippolito, Edipo, Troade, Medea, Agamennone, Ottavia, and Hercole etheo). It was probably not performed.
