Performed in either 1962 or 1963. In 1959, the Department began its great plays cycle - a plan to produce eight plays of special significance over a four year period, after which the cycle was repeated. The plays in the cycle included Oedipus Rex and Lysistrata. Revival in 1963 as a test production in the new departmental theatre.
