Production notes: 
Rondiris' production of Sophokles' Elektra had two runs in Athens in 1936 and 1937 (ID 297). It was revived in 1938 without Mitropoulos' music in Epidaurus - the first performance at the ancient theatre since antiquity (ID 298). This revival toured Europe in 1939. A further revival with a substantially new cast was presented in Greece and in the USA in 1952-1953 (ID 4925).
