Plutarch tells us of a performance of part of the Bacchae by the tragic actor Jason of Tralles at a banquet in the celebrations of the wedding between Hyrodes' son Pacorus and Artavasdes' sister. During the performance Sillaces rolled in the head of Crassus which Jason then, switching to the part of Agaue, used in performance as the head of Pentheus. The evidence for this performance is anecdotal.
