This play has the alternative titles: Medea or Medea Exul (Medea Banished). We do not know when this play was performed. Ennius came to Rome in 204 BC (see Cornelius Nepos) and died in 169 BC. It is therefore assumed in the date range offered here, that the play was performed at some time during this period. It is also assumed that the performance took place in Rome.
