This is not the famous Euripides. But another 5th-century Euripides whom we know of from the Suda lexicon, see TrGF1, 17 Euripides II, p.94. We know of 3 of his play titles: Orestes, Medea, and Polyxena, but we do not know when these plays were produced. The date range given here is arbitrary but is intended to offer a reasonable estimate of when this playwright may have been operating.
