The tragedian's name cannot be read on the inscription but he came first in the competiton and one of his play's was Tyro. Lysicrates acted. Hoffmann suggested that this might be Sophocles' Tyro, see TrGF 1, p.8 n1. Sophocles wrote two plays with this title it is not clear which one was performed in this year.
