Euripides competed against Sophocles in this Dionysia and came second. His plays were (in order): Cretan Women, Alcmaeon in Psophis, Telephus and Alcestis. N.B. Alcestis was in the place of a satyr drama (proto-satyric) and arguably includes satyric elements.
