Dr Ezra Baudou is an independent researcher and theatre-maker. They have taught in various universities and drama schools in France and in the UK (Paris Nanterre University, CRR of Paris, University of Oxford, University of Lincoln). Their research focuses on the reception of ancient material on European contemporary stages. Ezra was formerly Marie Skłodowska-Curie postdoctoral fellow at the APGRD (2019-2021). They also work on theatre productions as a dramaturg (2025: Dorian, director: F. Vialet; 2024: n dégré de liberté, director: T. Barès) and translate contemporary theatre.
